This may be your first real-life look at the OnePlus 8T
Jul 28, 2025
You might not have to guess what theOnePlus 8Twill look like in the real world. Well-known tipster Ishan Agarwal hassharedwhat appears to be leaked live photos of the OnePlus 8T, giving a feel for what it will be like in your hands.
The leaked photo shows a OnePlus 8T in the phone’s signature Aquamarine Green hue. If you don’t mind what looks to be a less-than-flattering clear case, this represents a good peek at the new upper mid-range device. The camera bump seems even more prominent than it does inOnePlus’ official video— there’s little doubt that photography will play a more prominent role than it did withthe 8.

The OnePlus 8T is poised to be a subtle evolution of the 8 that brings some of the8 Pro’sfeatures to a more affordable level while adding some features of its own. It’s poised to include a 6.55-inch120Hz OLED screen, a 48MP main camera (with 16MP, 5MP and 2MP secondary rear cameras), and a roughly 4,500mAh battery with65W fast charging. You may have a more affordable option with 12GB of RAM, too. It might still stick with the regular Snapdragon 865 chip, but it could otherwise be a viable upgrade for people who wanted some of the OnePlus 8 Pro’s features but balked at the price.

OnePlus unveils the 8T on October 14, when you’re able to likely expect many more photos without having to resort to leaks. It’s not going to rival the very latest flagships, but it’s clearly not meant to — it’s more about value for money and fending offincreasingly affordable competition.
