T-Mobile booting the OnePlus 7 Pro in favor of 7T, will focus only on one model
June 09, 2025
If you wanted to grab a T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro, it looks like you might be out of luck. According to a report from Wave7 Research (viaPC Mag), the nation’s third-largest carrier is cutting out theOnePlus 7 Proin order to make room for theOnePlus 7T.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is currentlyMIA on the T-Mobile website. T-Mobile confirmed toPC Magthat it removed the device due to “low inventory” and that it is only available in select stores.

We assume that theOnePlus 6T— which is still available at T-Mobile’s site — will also fade away to make room for the OnePlus 7T. According to Wave7, T-Mobile wants to focus on just one model from OnePlus going forward.
This is a strange strategy, as the OnePlus 6T has lasted a full year at T-Mobile even with the OnePlus 7 Pro launching in May.
Still, it does make a bit of sense to only focus on one model. According to Wave7, the OnePlus 6T started out with a bang capturing 5% of sales at T-Mobile stores. That figure is now down to less than 2%, which likely means the OnePlus 7 Pro failed to grab the same interest from consumers as the OnePlus 6T.

T-Mobileis likely hoping that the similar look but higher specs of the 7T will repeat the success of the 6T. There’s also the problem of the similarities in specs and features between the OnePlus 7 Pro and the OnePlus 7T (and, presumably, theOnePlus 7T Prowhich we expect to land next week), whichcould confuse customers.
Regardless, if you wanted a T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro, you might be out of luck unless you happen to have a local store that still has stock.
