Rumored Verizon Ellipsis 10 HD gets the press render treatment

August 04, 2025

Google, Samsung, and Lenovo are not the only companies that sellAndroid tablets—Verizonentered the market several years ago with its Ellipsis line of 8- and 10-inch tablets. Much like the three aforementioned companies, it appears that Big Red looks to remain in the Android tablet space with a rumored update to its larger slab.

As he has been known to do with many prior devices, famed leakster Evan Blass unveiled a press render of what the upcoming Ellipsis 10 HD might look like. The previousEllipsis 10was released back in November 2015, so it might not be entirely surprising to see that an updated version is in the works.

Alas, this is the only image of the hardware that is available for now. Even so, there are a few things to go off of, such as the two front-facing speakers, with one on either side of the display. The case that compliments the black slab also indicates Verizon might sell accessories specifically designed for the tablet.

Furthermore, it looks as if the Ellipsis 10 HD will run a stock-ish version of Android, with some Verizon apps thrown into the mix. Hopefully the tablet will run Nougat, but since the Ellipsis tablet line is known for being inexpensive, there is a possibility it could run Marshmallow. We hope this isn’t the case, though.

Speaking of inexpensive, the older Ellipsis 10 initially sold for $300 upfront, so the Ellipsis 10 HD could be priced in that ballpark. We also expect the upgraded tablet to improve upon the 2 GB of RAM and quad-core processor found in its predecessor.

We do not know when the Ellipsis 10 HD will go on sale, but an announcement might be around the corner.
