Get more out of Google Assistant with these newly supported products

Just in time for the holidays, Google has announced some new third-party devices supported by its digital assistant. These were outlined in aGoogle blog post(viaPhoneArena), where Google took the opportunity re-establish some of the previously supported devices and Google Assistant features; essentially, it’s a Google roundup of ways to control your home.
Your Android phone or Google Home can now take advantage of support forC by GE light bulbsfor turning the lights on, off and managing their dimming settings in any room. In addition, the Google Assistant supports fans fromBond— should you wish to keep the house even cooler this winter — while Google also singled-outecobeeandNestfor further temperature control (though these have been compatible with Google Assistant for some time now).

Keeping with the hot water theme, Smarter now has akettle that supports Google Assistant, as of earlier this month, whileWhirlpoolhas a range of supported microwaves and ovens. Meanwhile,LGis still the go-to brand for washers, refrigerators, and dryers.
Finally, those who want an overview of their home can use the Google Home and a Chromecast in conjunction with a connected camera like theLogitech Circle. By asking something like “OK Google, show the nursery on my TV” you can get a live feed of what’s happening.
