CyanogenMod now supports Nexus 6, Android One and international LG G3

June 03, 2025

The folks over atCyanogenModnever seem to stop working on expanding their device compatibility. Just one day after the operating systemgained support for Lollipop nightlieson over 30 different devices, the OS is now available for theNexus 6, allAndroid Onedevices as well as the internationalLG G3(d855). After the CM 12 nightlies news broke yesterday, many users were wondering when the devices listed above would get the update. Sure enough, they’re here. Before we proceed, there are a few things to note about each one of these builds.

The Nexus 6 is receiving its first CM build with the addition of CyanogenMod 12 nightlies, which will likely be very welcomed by early adopters of Google’s newest phablet.

Since all Android One devices are running the same OS, they’re filed under one single name:sprout. These builds are experimental, and they have yet to make the jump to CM 12. We’re sure CM 11 will do just fine for now, and CyanogenMod 12 will likely come to the devices within no time.

Last but not least, the international LG G3 (d855) is also getting a taste of CM 12 nightlies, so proceed with caution since these aren’t the most stable builds of the software. We shouldn’t have to mention this, but make sure your device is the d855 model, and not any others.

If you own any of these devices and would like to get started, follow the links below to the CyanogenMod links.

Is anyone out there excited about these additions? Let us know if you’ve had any luck so far!
